The aim of this study was to determine the level of hope in patients treated with Hemodialysis was done. Materials & Method: This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed on 106 patients undergoing hemodialysis by convenience sampling in Golestan University of Medical Sciences in 1394. Demographic characteristics were used for collecting data and Miller's hopefulness questionnaire was used to measure hope. Quantitative data were analyzed by SPSS software version 16 and analyzed by independent t-test, ANOVA and linear regression. Results: Independent T-test showed that hopefulness with sex, marital status and residence was not statistically significant (P >0.05). One way analysis of variance also showed that there is a significant relationship between dialysis duration, ethnicity, and education with hopefulness (P <0.05). Also, there is not a significant relationship between job and hope (P >0.05). Spearman correlation test showed that there is a significant statistical relationship between education with hope, but there is no significant relationship with gender, ethnicity, duration of dialysis, occupation, and residence. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the mean total hope in patients is at the desired level. People's Hope is an important benchmark that shows the effectiveness of health care. Therefore, by conducting training courses to increase the level of knowledge and awareness of their illness, as well as charity associations, helping poor people with hemodialysis can be improved mental health And their hopefulness.
