Cerebrovascular disorder is the third leading cause of death in the United States. this study was done by the goal of survey  The effect of slow stroke back massage on the quality of life in the elderly patient with hemiplegia consequent cerebrovascular accident Material & Method: This is a single-blind randomized clinical trial performed in payambar azam hospital, tavan center of rehabilitation and elder care center of Gonbad-e-Kavos city in 1396. The sample size was 42 people, 21 of whom were in the experimental and control group, respectively. Sampling was performed in a 6-month period by available sampling method and the results were evaluated using a questionnaire of 8-dimensional quality of life measurements. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent t-test and Chi-square test. Results: The mean scores after intervention in dimensions of physical & social function and general health were significant. In terms of physical function, in the experimental group, the mean and standard deviation of the score before and after the intervention were 40/24±22/90 and 69.45±18.79 (p<0/001) and in the control group 42/48±14/78 and 43/87±19/75 which was not statistically meaningful (p=0/412) Conclusion: We conclude that slow stroke back massage is an effective way to improve the symptoms and function of the affected area and can be a complementary therapeutic method in rehabilitation of patients with brain strokes, which indicates that this non-pharmacological and complementary intervention improved of the quality of life of elderly patients.}, Keywords = {Slow stroke back massage, elderly, quality of life, Hemiplegia}, volume = {8}, Number = {2}, pages = {5-14}, publisher = {Aligoodarz Faculty Nursing}, url = {http://ndhj.lums.ac.ir/article-1-162-en.html}, eprint = {http://ndhj.lums.ac.ir/article-1-162-en.pdf}, journal = {Nursing Development in Health Journal}, issn = {}, eissn = {2783-4530}, year = {2018} } @article{ author = {}, title = {Relationship between affinity, emotional insufficiency and personality types with youth self- confidence}, abstract ={Background & Aim: Self-confidence is a personal judgment about its worthwhile, which ultimately shows itself as an amount of interest or unwillingness of a person to himself. In order to promote the quality and dynamics of higher education programs, quantitative and qualitative surveys should be carried out continuously. Considering the necessity of a codified evaluation program for assessing the degree of nursing in Iran, this article has tried to introduce researchers and compare the articles that have been devoted to this topic over the past 10 years to help researchers choose the appropriate program to evaluate this course. Material & Method: In this review, a review of the type of literature review, articles published between 2007 and 2017 was reviewed. In order to access related scientific documentation, electronic search in two languages: Farsi and English using Ph.D. keywords, nursing, evaluation, Iran, educational program in databases: SID, PubMed and Google Scholar. Results: Two studies were published in English and the rest were published in Persian. Four cases (57%) were descriptive, 2 cases (28%) were qualitative and a cross sectional study. In the studies, two studies of Nursing Ph.D. Quality Assessment Questionnaire (QNDE), two studies of the Bredy model, and three other studies were from Patrick model, CIPP model and semi-structured interviews.
