Introduction: Chronic neck pain is one of the most common problems among computer users. The aim of this research was evaluation the effect of period exercise therapy and ergonomic intervention on the rate of chronic neck pain and disability.

Material & Methods: In this experimental study which is performed in method of Cross sectional, Thirty females computer uses of Lorestan university of medical scinces with(mean age: 32.63 ±3.97years) and at least six months that had a history of neck pain, by the personal Information questionnaire they were selected in fromtarget of among computer users participants underwent in two groups of Fifteen members experimental and control .The experimental group received Therapeutic exercises and ergonomic interventions and control group was no intervention therapy done. the rate of neck pain and disability at pre-test and post-test was measured by Neck pain and disability scale. also for analysis data, first computed the difference between pre-test and post-test, and then by independent t test case is evaluated underwent (P<0.05).       

Results: The results showed that between Mean chronic neck pain and disability there are significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).But There was no significant relationship between neck pain, disability and the subjects work experience (p =0.845, r =0.037).

Conclusion: The results of this study can be concluded exercise therapy with ergonomic interventions is useful for the treatment of chronic neck pain, therefore, using this method suitable for rehabilitation of patients with chronic neck pain and is recommend.
