Background and Objectives: To clarify concepts in nursing, there are different methods. One of these methods is related to Chinn and Kramer. Limited articles have used this style. The purpose of this article is to familiarize researchers with the method of analyzing the concept of Chinn and Kramer.
Materials and Methods: A non-systematic search method was used to obtain relevant texts.
Results: Chinn and Kramer's method includes six stages of choosing the concept, determining the goal, determining and defining information sources, testing criteria, recovering and checking the background and values, and setting and formulating the criteria.
Conclusion: In this method, more importance is given to aesthetic and existential sources such as music, poetry and literature in comparison with other methods, and different types of media and disciplines are used to clarify the concept as best as possible. It is hoped that this article will be a guide to familiarize dear researchers with this style of concept analysis.
